“The reason why your former persecutors and
abusers seem to have a short memory”
Jesus died at the age of 33. Did mankind need Jesus to live to his 70s or 100s, or like Noah to his 1000s? No! because he came for one reason, to restore man to God’s glory. Man needed the blood of Jesus as the default power base that no weapon formed against man (us) should withstand. What was the price to achieve this? The price was the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ, and through that death, the resurrection of the Son of God. Therefore, for brother Jesus to die, someone in the family needed to do the deed and betray Christ to the highest bidder, the executioner, for the execution to happen. Someone might ask, Did it have to be Judas? Well, he happened to be the great, greedy, and fearless Judas Iscariot who volunteered. It didn’t have to be Judas, and it could have been anyone else, but he chose to be the one, and the bottom line of the prophecy was that our Lord Jesus Christ needed to die, no matter what. Thank God Judas made himself available for the job and used his negotiation skills to betray God’s beloved Son Jesus, through whose crucifixion and resurrection, we all have received God’s redemption, mercy, and regained our full Christlike power. Hallelujah Church! And hear someone say Amen.
The moral of the
story OVER YOUR LIFE is that everyone born of a woman has a prophecy upon their lives Jeremiah 29
v 11 “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans
to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. Fortunately,
this prophecy comes with a price and smells of crucifixion and death.
In the journey
of life, you could have been mistreated, abused, and persecuted in so many evil
ways that seem to have been crafted and forged specially for you, such that you
were even convinced that your persecutors or abusers were born from the devil
himself, though some of your executioners could have been your blood relatives.
Are you catching the drift here? You could have even faced situations of Loss,
such as the loss of a parent, sibling, or child. As I write, I lost my father
at the age of 8 and my life was turned upside down in a flash from living an
affluent life in Kitwe’s Parklands area, a life of plenty with servants doing
everything for me to the point a didn’t even know how to wash or iron my clothes,
to living in a small one bedroomed house where I had to start to learn how to
Iron my clothes with a strange ironing instrument that uses charcoal. I cried
through the ironing experience as the Iron burnt me more than it ironed my
school uniform, at least in the beginning. It was rough, and I have endured
abuse, humiliation, and everything in between in my life. I know what mental torture is, and I know what
rejection is
Ultimately. I
believe that the majority of you reading this today, after going through the valley
of the shadow death, probably life has turned you into international celebrities,
or you are living your dream life as a successful businessman or lady, have a
wonderful family, found the love of your life, or probably with a successful
career, and you have travelled the world and everyone knows your name.
Here is the Iron
of God on your life, and it starts with Isaiah 46 vs 10 “I declare the end
from the beginning, and from ancient times what is still to come. I say,
'My purpose will stand, and all My good pleasure I will accomplish.” What you
are today, the Lord completed before your beginning. You were successful even
before you did one successful act. However, the principle of God is that before
your enthronement, you need a crown of thorns to squeeze out the King and Queen
out of you, you were supposed to go through crucifixion, that represents every
evil pain you have been through in your life and indeed it has been painful but
as the story of Jesus goes, after crucifixion, you needed to die to your old
you in order to resurrect into the King or Queen that you are today full of
wisdom, power and compassion and the your persecutors who thought they had
buried you and had covered your tomb cant perceive what in heaven happened. They
even used a heavy stone to close your tomb so that you never ever amount to
anything. Suddenly, the devil woke up one day only to find the stone had been
rolled away by the Lord, and the tomb was empty because, according to the Lord,
your training was over and you were ready for your throne. Ati Basalapuke!
Pwanku, baitika, they found you on the throne as the King or the Queen in the
place you are today. Out of your wounds, you have become wiser, and out of your
pain, you have been resurrected to your place of Power. Hallelujah. I know what you are
thinking! But these are the same people now asking for help, and they have
forgotten what they did to me. Yes! They did not know what they were doing;
they were just playing their assigned roles in God’s playbook in the story of
your life. Simply put, they were used as bridges from one glory to another. As
it is a bridge does not remember who walked on it to safety, it has a short
memory.
You see, God
needed Judas to be a close member of the family in the story of Jesus. In your
story to your throne, God needed some close Judas members to push you to your
throne, and they were carefully selected for their skill sets, such as
greediness, hatefulness, Jealousy, gluttony, stinginess, and everything in
between. However, they had a choice: either to love you in your vulnerability
or to hate you and play the Judas role in your story. Someone can remember the
time he or she was forced to leave one town to go to another area against your
will by force, and you cried all the way to where ever you were forced to flee,
feeling abandoned and rejected, without knowing that that’s where your dream
job was waiting for you, or the love of your life was waiting for you? Wow! A
place where beautiful things began in your life. What do you do for the
wonderful outcome? Do you hate the person who chased you or who denied you something
you thought was special?
Naaa! They were
made the BRIDGES OF YOUR LIFE to carry you from one place of glory to another
But how did you
get there? It’s through pain. See in nature how beautiful roses are supported by stems
of thorns. Isn’t that wonderful
You may be at
work, and all of a sudden, someone just begins to pick on you with Loads of work
in an abusive way! Just know that your time of promotion is at hand, and
without knowing the supposed abuser, has just begun to play their role in God’s
playbook for your journey to the top in your professional career. Don’t complain,
but thank God
Know this, Judas still had to pay for his crimes against
Jesus, no wonder he committed suicide, so does everyone who has played
the Judas in your life. But leave that to God Almighty, who can see your enemy no
matter how big their smiles are
