What I take into the New Year

I do realize that everyone tries to blow the trumpet when a new year is about to show up with the out of date song which take the form of a resolution “It will be my best year to achieve my dreams”. However, I have more often than not seen how the majority still remain the old selves without any trace of change as the New Year progresses and ends. What is the problem? Is it the problem of the New Year or is it the person in the New Year? Whatever the answer may be for you, one thing I do know is that we get out of life who we are. Success grows only to the extent to which anyone grows to. As for me the following is what I commit to do in the New Year:

• The life around me is a reflection of the life inside me: Therefore, if I want to change the life around me, I should start with changing my beliefs and mind-set. I should control what goes into my mind and watch every thought going on in my mind. I am the one who possess my mind and therefore, I am not my mind just like I am not my leg even though I possess the leg. My mind feeds on my past and always controls my actions based on my past experiences. Therefore, 2018 I commit to be in control of my life as it is today. I will install thoughts and beliefs that support my happiness and success.
• Gratitude is the best prayer of all times. What you are grateful for will fill up your life. In 2018, I commit to start my day with a gratitude list of the things God has blessed me with. I will be grateful for everything little of significant. I will continue to do that until my life is filled with gratitude language only
• A man’s gift will bring him or her before great men and women. In 2018, I commit to build my natural gifts for others to enjoy great value from it.
• No one becomes a master of everything; I realize that one cannot undertake to travel a thousand routes at the same time and hope to get to where one is going. A thousand routes will get you to a thousand destinations. Therefore, in the year 2018, I commit to act, do, concentrate and achieve three important goals for my professional and business life. I will build habits and rituals to ensure I produce master pieces that will add value to others and earn income while doing it

• No idea will work until I work it: Therefore, I commit to do and actualize the goals I have committed to. Having an idea without working it out is being delusional.  I will invest my mind-set, heart-set and emotional capital into planning and monitoring my progress towards achieving my goals
• Everything in life takes the meaning which I give it. Fear is just a belief. Therefore, in 2018 I commit to give everything in my life the meaning that supports my happiness and success. I commit to remove words that do not empower my life.
• Toxic people or complainants will infect anyone in their environment with negative energy. Therefore, in the New Year. I commit to delete toxic relationships or people from my life. One cannot fly as an Eagle while trying to swim with ducks.
• "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." -Maya Angelou: in 2018 I commit to leave people I interact with better than I found them.
• I have learnt in life that Rich people are bigger than their problems while Poor people believe they are smaller than their problems. In 2018, I commit to be bigger than any problem and will face problems that come my way with the mind-set that I am well able to deal with them. The Bible actually declares that greater is he that is inside you than the one outside. Anything coming my way knows that I am wired with the solution already

As the year comes into effect, don't just make decisions because many are still making decisions which they have been making for the last decade and never acted on anyone of them. Commit to act by putting down your goal on paper and act on it. I believe its the cheapest way to success

Getting Lost in Someone else's Success is Your Greatest Disaster

One great lesson I have learnt in the year 2018 is to choose to work on my goals in my free time away from my regular job. When I thought I did not have enough time to do the things I love to do, I realize that I actually do have the time. The biggest distraction for every one I know is social media and television. I realize that, the people we watch on television, have chosen to work on their dreams, perfected their acts and are having fun while making money doing what they love to do. To make yourself to feel better, you call them celebrities.

Do you remember your childhood dream? from which you have been distracted being busy with your current job? (the one you chose for convenience and you may not even like or love) the one you do because you need to pay bills and take care of your family. You and I still have the chance to go back to do our childhood passions. You don't even have to quit your job to achieve it. We waste a lot of time trying to watch the bad news by the media, the kind the media thinks we need! What if you chose to stop watching the bad news that you have no control over and started using your free time thinking about your dream and working on a plan of action. Remember, everything you need to achieve your dream is already wired in your DNA and ready to manifest if only you let it.  

One thing I have learnt is that watching a lot of television and movies if you like or resorting to social media fantasies is a sudo way of trying to escape from the tragedies of the goals one never made or worked on and have chosen television or social media as a relief drug to escape the pain of failure to follow one's dreams. The relief is temporary, hence, the need to watch television over and over or be on social media addiction. Think about it, How much have you earned watching television or being on social media. Of course there are also ways you can make money using social media such as selling new and second items. How much have you earned forwarding jokes on WhatsApp or Facebook. I am guessing you are now counting the cost of Internet bundles 

When you think you are enjoying a movie, comedy or talk show, remember that you are just lost in some one else's success and yours is getting delayed. Be wise, your Free time is your prime time and begin using it for your success

Is it not incredible how some people wake up every morning and they easily find something to complain about? It could be a spouse, a friend, children, their house and even about themselves. Somebody joked that such kinds of people will even complain in heaven about having nothing to complain about. Some are even complaining about the year 2018 even found faults in it before it finally arrives.

Every day is a gift to everyone, the sun shines without discrimination and the wind blows in its majesty at everyone’s door without asking for our names, color or gender. We all have the liberty to choose what we want to see in the new day. What anyone chooses to see is what they get. The day is full of everything and it provides everything in abundance whatever you need based on your belief. Those who choose to see scarcity, they get it in abundance and those who choose to see the beauty in it will get exactly that.

Choose to be the leader of your day and not the victim of it. Victims have a tendency to complain, criticize and condemn anything before even evaluating the scenario. This is because victims bring their past failures, hurts and disappointments into their present and hence, loose the opportunity to see the spotless future available before them. Victims are suspicious of everyone and don’t even trust their own shadow. Victims believe everyone in their immediate surroundings is up to no good. On the flip side of things, I would encourage someone to be a leader who has the ability to see abundance in the midst of scarcity, strength in weakness and opportunities hidden in failure. A leader builds other leaders through influencing by good examples, inspiration through their passion to perform and impact through their positive results.

If you work or manage others, and sometimes feel the need to use one of the 3 C’s – complaining, condemning, and criticizing – replace them with the 3 A’s of Accepting, Acknowledging, and Appreciating. See what the 3 A’s will do to the people around you. The smiles you put on their faces will be priceless

Accept people for who they are; acknowledge them for what they do; and appreciate them for just being around. Remember that when you appreciate others, your reputation and respect appreciates too. Whatever you appreciates will also appreciates in value in your life. Always give gratitude for what is before you because, whatever you are grateful for, will fill up your life. Do you have need to fill up your life with love, show some love to others this festive season and life will reciprocate hundredfold for you. In everything you encounter, whether its people, focus on seeing the good and beauty. Don’t take wonderful things for granted until you lose them. You will never appreciate the beauty in a spouse until they are gone.

Show gratitude this season of giving. It’s the cheapest yet precious gift you can give that help you reap a harvest from heaven. Gratitude helps reprogram your brains negative bias to a positive bias. Every morning write down a list of ten things that you are grateful for. Do this every day and see how you begin to turn your life into an eternal experience of joyful events. That’s the power of GRATITUDE

What If the coming Year 2018 was a Beautiful lady of your dreams or Gorgeous Guy any woman wouldn't Ignore?

What would you Say to the beautiful woman or gorgeous guy before you to welcome them in your house or life?

It’s natural that we Speak in WORDS, Yet we think in PICTURES. I bet you would describe them by the flare of their garments, texture of their skin, the beauty of their smile, the Excellency of their mannerism and probably the kindness of their hearts even though you may not be sure about that. You would shower them with value descriptions that would make them feel like they are floating in the heavens and for a moment it would be like you were cut from the same cloth and the relationship was a match made in heaven with precision. Anytime you honor people with kind words, they try to fit your description of them with the right actions and courtesy towards you even it is for a moment just to ensure you get your praise worth. Whatever, you do in such scenarios is setting the goals of the relationship. It’s like  Johann Wolfgang von Goethe a German writer and statesman put it "Treat people as if they were what they ought to be, and you help them to become what they are capable of being

I submit to you today that as you look forward to the year 2018, think of the year like the man or the woman of year dreams. Describe the beauty you hope to see and experience. Put detail and color to what you hope to achieve, the people you wish to meet and connect, the new skills you want to explore. Explore your deep Imaginations of the things you have never done but you hope the beauty called 2018 would help you explore. Describe what you hope to do every day, week and months because it’s only what is planned that usually get done. Don't let your imagination down because it is the place where you can fashion your destiny or you can forge the weapons to destroy your own life.

If you want the year 2018 to be your best year, color the year with your best idea and be determined to execute it no matter how crazy the idea sounds. Remember, if nobody is laughing at your dream it’s possible that you are not dreaming big enough. Just talking about an idea does not make the idea work. Have and document an idea that you are willing to die for in 2018.

Pro 23:7 of the Christian Bible say "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he": Conceive in your heart your life in 2018 and Begin to describe the color of your year 2018 today and not when the year has already come for it's only a fool that begins to train when the game has lready started. Anticipate opportunities in 2018 and prepare for  them because, like one wise man once said its better to prepare for an anticipated opportunity and get ready for it than getting an opportunity that you are not ready for. Help the year 2018 to be what it ought to be for you and only you. 

Above all, have Faith that what you conceive in your heart, you will experience

We live in a time where there is a higher temptation to live like everybody else. The temptation to conform and not to confront. The temptation of being in a gang for identity. A time where we are losing the essence of originality. The danger is that our environment will determine our destiny. If you are hanging around with nine (9) broke folks, then you are about to be the tenth. If you have toxic friends, the chances are that you are already toxic or on the way there. If you are in a circle of WhatsApp addicts who spend time laughing about what’s trending, the chances are that you are wasting just as much time as they are. Wake Up! You may be living a con life and it’s not yours!

Success is not about chasing what society has described to be the true color of success. It’s not about the car that you drive nor the Job that you have. Success does not abound in the things you own for they are just vanity. Society has kept everyone busy trying to chase what cannot be found and that is true success. Everyone is busy being busy trying to climb mountains that lead to nowhere in the hope they will get to the top and only discovering that it was the wrong mountain. Think about it! You may have been living other people’s agenda except yours. You have been living to meet other people’s expectations for the love off having cheerleaders. Your friends have prescribed your boundaries and you have been happily abiding by them for acceptance. Society has hypnotized you to assume a false identity. You have lost your power and given it to the so-called celebrities thinking they are cut from a different rare cloth.

It’s time to start living life on your own terms because that is what true success is all about. Living a life of freedom to express your God-given talents and gifts to impact other lives in a positive way. Living a life that everyone celebrates because you showed up on this earth. Living a life of self-acceptance and love, where you don’t need anybody’s approval to love yourself, your structure, your facial look, your skin color and above all where you came from. It does not matter where one starts their life, they can be born in a manger as long as they don’t come out of it as a ‘Cow’ but because they were born there, and everyone can celebrate the Manger as the symbol of 'Christmas'. It matters how one ends there life. Don’t laugh too early at anybody because you don’t know how their life story will end. Being a nobody today does not mean you cannot be the billionaire of tomorrow. Forgive those who despise you today because they can’t see the end of your story. I may not know you personally, but there is one thing I am certain about your life and that is you have greatness hidden in you and it’s just a matter of time before you explode for all to see. 

My encouragement to you today is that It’s time to start walking your walk and reflecting on your dreams.  Adopt your own language of destiny and start the journey. All you need is to make the decision for your life. It’s time to celebrate yourself.

Many times life will send a multitude of horrors that will knock you down. Storms that wash everything dear to you away from your reach. Unimaginable fires that literally burns every stroke of opportunity from your grips. In this ending year, people may have tried to bury you under titles you could not even comprehend. When the ones you called friends betrayed your trust. But thank God they did not know that you are a seed that can grow from under the garbage. The storms could have blown everything you held dear to you away but there was one thing the storms could not blow away and that is the presence and love of God in your life. Can I get an Amen

I can assure you that life could have thrown you on the garbage dumps and smeared you with shit but this is what I know, God has bestowed upon you with the ability and capacity to turn your pain into power and the shit of life into fertilizer for your growth and profit. When you look back into the passing year, just give thanks for everything you went through because when a seed germinates its never in this same form it was buried with. I encourage you to use the failures of yesterday as the base lessons for your exponential growth in the coming year. Its time to realize that life should follow you and you should never allow life just to happen by default. You are the creator of your garden of Eden and the entire unformed infrastructure of your Eden is waiting to form into what you will declare. The door way to your destiny does not swing outwards but inwards because everything you need, you were born with and life is waiting on you to make a difference.  

Today take a good look at what is happening around you and if you don't like what you see, just know that it is a reflection of what is going on in the inner part of you. When you change your inner empire by coloring it with the beauty of what you desire, your outer empire will begin to conform to your inner empire.
