Many times people ask me the
question, is Life worth fighting for? I say to them as I put it to you now; You
are not here on Earth by Accident nor were you born as a mistake. The whole life is your inheritance and is worth fighting for. The
circumstances of your birth may not be what everyone would have wanted it to be
but the fact that you are here, you are special and greatness was wired into
your growth DNA by the almighty God. You did not have a choice as to who your
parents should be or in what family to born in or where you were born, but by
the abundant grace of God you have the power to choose and change your destiny.
Your past does not dictate your destiny, therefore, you are not your past, you are in charge of your destiny by the decisions you make. If anyone reminds you of your past, show them your future. Don’t wait for people to acknowledge or validate you, just show up for yourself because you have everything you need to live abundantly. Make everyone else’s opinion, their opinion and none of your business. I know that life can be tough sometimes, but no matter how tough things can get and how hard your circumstances can become, don’t give up pursuing your dream. Let your dream be the 'why' you will keep fighting such that when life hits you on the blind side try to fall on your back because if you can look up, your reason for living will make you to stand up and continue to fight. Above all do not walk through life with spiritual blindness, anticipate opportunities and prepare even if the circumstances do not look like opportunities. See opportunities in the obstacles that come your way. Don’t even trust your own eyes because the eyes have a tendency to filter off certain things from your vision that is the reason why you may pass by an opportunity that is staring you in your face.
If you wake up in the morning and all you think about is writing, then you are a writer. Write those books even if no one reads them because you were born to do this. Sing the songs that have been bubbling in your heart and do not care about who does or doesn’t listen because you were born to do this and one day someone will pay attention and listen or read your book because it is coming from your deepest self and believe me, God is with you all the way.
